now/next banner

    When I am using the remote the now/next banner is going really slow and sometimes gets stuck. same goes for the info banner. it even got stuck on UK history today and transfered me back to RTE1. Is anyone else getting this problem?

    Same problem here. Reboot had no effect.

    I noticed a problem on my Panasonic when I go to All Channels on EPG, the first page of channels list fine, but the next page starts off with "Searching for Listings" and then I end up back at first page again. I've noticed this on a Grundig today too. It also kept losing info on the Now/Next banner.

    i had this problem also. I put it down to the strong winds we are having at the moment.

    I've been having this problem lately aswell. Glad to hear others are having similiar problems (if you know what I mean) as I thought my box was on the way out.
    Having said that, I'm also having probs with the personal planner.

    If I have two or more programmes scheduled the digibox seems to get confused.
    When the banner pops up to tell me "this programme is about to start" and I press select, the channel won't change. Sometimes it even displays the wrong programme.
    No matter how many times I press select or if I go into any of the service menus to try to change the channel, it just goes back to the one I've been viewing. It remains like this for about 9 minutes and then everything goes back to normal.

    I've tried a forced software update but the problem still remains.
    Has anyone had this annoyance?
    I'm using a silver Grundig digibox.

    Of course if we wanted to be really paranoid we could wonder about the fact that these problems along with the serious degradation in picture quality is happening at the same time as a huge push for Sky+.

    Ah yes, conspiracy theory and all that, however I am seeing the problem with the "searching for listings" message on a Sky+ box.

    Someone else I know had this problem a week or two ago, and then we started getting it every now and again. Sometimes it takes two or three reboots to work again.
