after moving my tv unit i can't get my video to work properly.
i connected everthing back but i must be going wrong somewhere.
my terrestial tv channels are all working as is sky digital.
when i switch my video on it overides everything and the only way to watch one programme and tape another one is to set the video.
when the video is turned on it switchs to av1 on my tv(sharp)
anyone know the best way to connect everything with only one scart lead or do i need another scart lead.

    any help would be great.

connect scart from digibox to telly
then the standard coax cables from box to vcr and from vcr to telly

Cut the lead to pin8 of your scart and video will not overide, is it a sony video by any chance?

Before you cut anything, was it working properly before?

If so it is just a matter of figuring out what way you had it connected.

BTW Aiwa are made by Sony as far as I know.

    shane,
the only things i disconnected were the in out leads of the digi box and the scart lead.
if i connected the in/out leads incorrectly would you still get a picture.

Try swapping the scart leads around, one may already have pin 8 disabled
