has anyone seen steven kings "night flier", its a pretty average steven king flick, but its quite weird, and i was wondering if anyone who saw it could explain the ending- where the reporter goes nutso with the axe and kills everyone in the airport.

If it's Steven King, it's probably based on a book - books are usually better at explaining complicated plot details.

If I recall correctly it's based on a short story so there may never be an answer. After all the movie "Lawnmower Man" has fcuk all in common with his short story of the same name.
