Which is the Better CSI?

I'm a big fan of both, but i think i prefer Las Vegas, simply because of Grissom. But i have to admit Miami is very slick.

Come to think of it is there any real difference between the two shows?

Watched 'CSI: Miami' from the beginning and, when I did, started into 'CSI'. Prefer the original because the characters are better - Grissom is a lot more fun. Horatio has a bit of a "know-it-all" complex. Example situation:

[Crime Scene. Dead woman on the ground]
Horatio: Now the woman is lying prone on the ground and we've established the temprature of the liver is seventy five degrees. Now what does that tell us?
Speadle: That -
Horatio: I'll tell you what it tells us. That our victim died three hours ago and was struck directly on the head from behind. Now see that trail of blood?
Speadle: Yeah it- -
Horatio: It leads right to that dumpster over there. So here's what we're gonna do. You're going to search that dumpster and I'm going to stand outside, act superior, and not let you talk.
Speadle: Prick.

Yet there's something about Miami that keeps me watching - Horatio is an interesting, albeit annyoing, character and I love Speadle and his permanent disgruntled look. I think CSI is better but it's hard to watch it when RTE take it off the air every second fcuking week :mad:

LoL.... true ixoy. I'm starting to get pissed off with all the effort they put in to using lamps to find traces of blood, then the whole swab thing, then finally they'll say 'it's blood!'. -Of course it's fupping blood you idiots.

I prefer Miami though. I can't stand William Petersen in the original. At the start of the series I was hoping for a repeat of his Manhuner character, or similar. He just irritates me now.

I like both but have to admit i like Miami better prob cos I used to like NYPD Bluebefore Ur man David left. Also its the only cop kinda show that doesnt deal with the characters personnal life meaning more time on the actual case and less on crap we don't care about

The episode that really did it for me (i.e. cemented my hatred of Grissom) was where a baby was killed. The body was located and other members of his team and cops were walking up to the location. Grissom came running up and insisted on being the first to look.
Then at the end of the show somebody complains about something or other and Grissom says "Yeah well they weren't the first person to have to see that dead baby."
Like oh poor Grissom, he was forced to see that baby... @r$£;!!

WTF has happened to C.S.I.? It's not on next Monday and hasn't been on for the last few weeks. The season has not finished and it's a popular program - why the hell has it been taken off air :mad:
