    I will be doing a self install tonite of iol broadband im running windows Xp and remmber reading something about a xp firewall in Xp. Do i need to disable this and how or are there other setting i need to change in xp home edition.

    my advise, disable the internal firewall, and download either Kerio or some other such program. THats about all that has to be changed.

    Just make sure you have the firewall up and running BEFORE you connect to the internet....
