Irish Stations resetting EPG info?

Since this morning, every time I switch to 101, 102, 103 or 104 the programme times are all wrong (about 30 minutes behind) and then my receiver freezes for a few seconds. The EPG then appears to be reset and reloaded.

This happens every time I flick to one of the Irish stations; no other channels seem to have this effect. To me, it appears as if RTE are be uploading incorrect EPG data. I hope this is not actually a fault with my Sky+ box as I only got the thing back from being repaired the other day!

Does anybody else have this problem? If not, then I really am going to chuck this thing out the window!

The problem appears to be with the "now & next" data carried by all channels on the RTE transponder. For example, if you select RTE Radio 1 on EPG 910 it says that Morning Ireland is still on & 2FM says that the Full Irish is still on!

Also, if you add the DWE and TVE channels which are currently testing on the RTE transponder (10744H, 22.00, 5/6) you will see that they are also showing now & next data from early this morning.

I have checked my older Grundig digibox - and it has the exact same problem! The EPG software must not like this conflicting information it is recieving, and hence appears to be telling the digiboxes to reload the full EPG data.

Exact same problem here again. I had thought it had something to do with the amount of lightning we were having around here but I didn't notice it only affected the Irish channels, when I tried using the T.V. guide the details kept popping up and disappearing. Also, when using the channel plus and minus controls on the remote when it got to TG4 it wrapped around again back to RTE 1 and kept doing this loop.
I left the decoder unplugged overnight anyway to reset it.

Yep. Came here hoping to see others having the same problem. I unplugged my box last night hoping it would be all cured this morning. No such luck. When I select all channels having been on RTE, the "Searching for listing" box display and keeps flashing fo about 15 seconds before listing ther channels. This happens everyhing I view all channels after having been on the Irish stations. I also hear the channel sound when I am looking at the main EPG rather than that lovely guitar music.

Was planning on doing a force upgrade ? Anyone have an ideas ?

    TIA

Same problem last night - haven't checked today. However, I did find that in the full screen EPG, scrolling down to unaffected channels and then scrolling back up to the Irish channels appeared to show 'some' updated program information in the affected channels. Sky1 and Sky Mix were also affected for me from what I can remember.

Same problem with my new Sky + box.
Tried forced software download, but it had no effect.
Tried re-scanning channels from installer menu, no effect
    The Signal quality/strength > 80% both LNBs

Anyone had any of the following?
    1. Press Ch+ from Ch101, when you get to sky one, its name disappears from search/scan banner
    2. When using s/s banner from CH101, the system freezes and returns to 998
    3. Using s/s banner from CH101, most channels have no program info.

Moving to a higher channel restores full functions of EPG.

It would appear that everyone is experiencing this problem. Doesn't matter what type of box you have, be it Sky+ or regular digibox.

    Still a problem @ 2pm.

I spoke to Sky this morning at about 10.30am. I had to keep insisting that it was not a problem with my box & that simply rebooting it would not fix the problem!

In the end I got through to a more "senior" technical person who had a test system. I told them to tune to channel 910 (RTE Radio 1) and explained to them that the 'Morning Ireland' show had finished hours ago.

He then went off to check something and told me that yes there was a problem, and that somebody was looking at it. If it's still botched up at 4pm I will give them another call.

I'd say the problem comes from somebody adding EPG data for the new test channels on the transponder (DWE and TVE). Somehow they have messed up the configuration for all the channels.

    It's fixed now!!

All EPG data is back to normal, and now more strange crashes.
