This cannot be done with an Irish subscription at present.

There was a scheme in the UK where you could get a Free To View card which would unblock these three channels. It was run by the BBC before they changed the way they broadcast on satellite. They used to encrypt their signal but now it is not encrypted at all. Quite a number of people here managed to get one of these cards and swapped it everytime they wanted to watch ITV, Ch4 or five. As I said these cards are no longer readily available.

If you know someone in the UK, you could possible set up a UK subscription (using a credit card). Sky would send the card to the UK address and it could be forwarded on. A few people here have such a setup.

Only problem is if you are a new Sky customer here. You have signed up for 12 months. Of course you will also loose the Irish channels (but an aerial should be fine for these).

and you also have to have a working phoneline connected to the digibox 27/7/365 if it is a new subscription
