    Mr. X,

You do not have to be an Esat Home Phone user to avail of Surf No Limits and
as you might have assumed this rate applies only to a connection to Esat
Clear and not any other ISP.

The national 'backbone' is a digital fibre optic network, which links all
the local or city rings, and lies along CIE's rail networks throughout the
country. Both the local and national networks are in turn linked to the Esat
l submarine cable which joins Wexford to Land's End in the UK.

    Regards,

    EsatClear,
    ISP Support.

    Dear Mr X,

You don't need to be an EsatClear Voice customer and you will dial up to
the Esat Network to get the specified rate. In relation to what Backbone
Esat runs on , I can't specify but we have multiple links going through
INEX ,LINX and we also have a 45mbs link to the United States.

    Regards

    Jeff Doyle

45mbs to the US, are they JOKING ?

    Idle ****s.

And there will be a way to avail of ISDN with Esat Clear, but you have to be an existing subscriber to Esat Home on an ISDN line.

Or so I've been unreliably told...
