I am waiting for my modem from IOL and know it is USB based but I only have 2 usb ports on my PC and use a 4 way hub. Can I connect iol using one of the hub ports otherwise it will be a pain swopping cables.

    Thanks

i've no idea if it'll work or not - but you can add more usb ports to your pc if you have a spare pci slot. i beleive pc world have pci cards with 4 usb 2.0 ports on them - not sure the price.

I haven't tried but there shoud be no technical problem, especially if the hub you use is mains powered.

RADSL is quite slow so there is no bandwidth problem either.

There shouldnt be a problem. As Tribble said, the bandwitdth on a USB 2.0 hub isnt going to be strained that much by our current DSL.

AFAIK, pc world do the pci cards for around 40 yoyos.

Search online, they are cheaper :D
