Just like to let everyone know that St. Ita's Hospital Radio, the first station to be awarded a licence to broadcast in Ireland, is 20 years on air this year.

The station is operated with the help of volunteers who give freely of their time and expertise.

St. Ita's Hospital Radio was the first Hospital station in Ireland to use computer automation and MP3 technology in Ireland and now utilises radio automation for 20 hours per day from a music library of over 140GB spanning 6 decades.
