Its back to one day with a 2 min break between each session. The TV companies are gonna love this. I wonder will RTE cover both.

RTE didn't cover Friday qualifying this year, probably because of budget restrictions, (ITV showed it late on Friday nights except for live coverage of the Melbourne and Silverstone Friday sessions) so they might be more able to show both sessions if they're on of a Saturday one after the other now. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

I'd say the TV stations will show the lot. Like it on a Saturday and the majority of TV on a Sat is sport anyway.

As for the format, sounds like a good one but only time will tell.
