The last album was very good, as was the first indeed.

    Standout tracks off Black Cherry:
    Train
    Black Cherry
    Twist
    Strict Machine

    From Felt Mountain:
    Lovely Head
    Paper Bag
    Oompa Radar

I recommend buying the albums, they're well worth it.

    Hmmmm. Goldfrapp.
Strict Machine video . Tres Sexy.

Just ordered the 2 albums - liked what I've heard so far on BBC6.
    V. similar to some of the stuff I was into back in the 80s - not a million miles away from some of the Mute material I liked.

Goldfrapp are really, really good. I hope they play a headlining show or festival in the nearby future. Yes, I didn't go to Massive Attack.

Does anyone here think the chorus for"Strict Machine" sounds really similar to "In Love" by The Datsuns?

omg, you're right. there that drum beat that both songs have and of course the title chorus. funny that one :)

i like black cherry. its like vintage 60's porn collection in my music box. i like the girl's voice and the space age 3000 zaps and samples.

Thanks everyone! I am downloading Black Cherry now, adans description of a 'vintage 60's porn collection in my music box' was too apealing! Wanted to go to Massive Attack too, that freak scenary mentioned, but I was at Manu Chao the night before(I think?) so I couldn't afford it. Anyone go to Manu Chao? Thought it was Absolutely fantastic! Anyhoo, thanks

I bought Felt Mountain on the strength of the track 'Lovely Head' but thought the album was only so-so! :(

But did anyone see her performing live on T4 just now? !!DOWN BOY!!! :horned:
