Hi. I'm seriously considering a career change and would love to do Photography. I wanted to do it originally but got side tracked and ended up in Software Development. I feel and have been told that I have a good eye for a photo and I enjoy taking pics whenever I can. Can someone give me some pointers as to where I should be looking to get some info on moving into a career in photography? Is it worth it or is it damn hard to make a living at it? Thanks!

First question is are you prepared to take a BIG hit on salary? A good way to get into it would be to do a FETAC course somewhere. You should look into FAS courses also as they allow you to learn and draw the Bob Dole.
