    I still think they should have had the shelob/frodo thing at the end of the last one. I know it would have ended it on a sad note, but it's the way it was split when the books were made into a trilogy, and should have stayed the way tolkien wanted it.

    If they put Shelob at the end of TTT, there would have been very little left for Frodo and Sam to do in ROTK and Gollum would barely make an appearence in the film until the climax at Mount Doom. After Shelob, all that happens to them is Sams rescue of Frodo, a lot of moaning about how tired and hungry they are and then Mount Doom. Putting Shelob in ROTK is an excellent idea - it also makes Gollum's part much bigger for ROTK.
    Trailer looks pretty sweet. It should be the best installment of the trilogy;
    Paths of Dead/Two massive battles/Witch King/ Shelob/Mount Doom/More Ents(hopefully we'll get to see more of them at Isenguard)/More Gollum.
    Does anyone know if Grey Havens or the scouring of the Shire will be included in ROTK?
