Is there a RF video channel on the Sky plus digibox.
I see nothing in the manual.
I want to be able to relay a movie channel or whatever sub channel intothe tv in the kitchen.

theres no output on 68 at all on mine or on any other uhf channel.
    I wonder why that is??
I've had it ages but only bothered to sort this out since I got the Sky plus features switched on.
It's the older pace and there are two RF outs on the back with nothing coming from either.

Theres maybe a fault or I am missing something very simple:o

Did you check what channel it is set to in the hidden menu?
    Services, 4, 0, 1, select

    Sounds strange alright.

Have you tried changing the channel on the set-up menu (maybe to 64 or something) and try retuning the TV ? Worth trying just for the sake of it.

Yeah, I checked that too Charles-Nothing happening either :(

Looks like a dud RF thing here.

Time for me to check out Dixons coverplan policy methinks.

Sorry I'don't mean to be stupid but have you connect your box to the TV or VCR from RF. because you say that there are two RF with nothing coming from them. You wouldn't get reception with connect 1 of the RF outputs to the TV or VCR.

Roll around the floor laughing!!! :D:D

    Of course I'm not stupid!

What I meant was that there was no signal coming from either RF outputs not that I had no cables connected:p

Does it "loop through" without making the picture noisy?

If not, then the entire module is lacking power.

All of these I have seen use separate "main power" and a "modulator power" pin.

It does sound like you have a faulty unit.

BTW the "on/off" RF2 setting in Installer menu does not affect RF AT ALL, only turns on/off the +9V to power a remote eye.

If it was out of g'tee I would simply add external Maplin modulator or get a replacement (maybe they have them) from www.satcure.co.uk but I can solder (when I remember not to lift the "iron" by the shiny end...)
