For some reason Outlook and Outlook Express just won't save my POP passwords no matter how many times I set "remember password" options...

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

    What OS are you using?
If it's 95/98/ME are you typing a password when you log onto Windows or are you just hitting escape/cancel?

Click on tools - accounts - servers tab, you will see a password box about half way down, remove password and remove tick from box that says "remember password" - click apply - add tick to box that says "remember password" - enter in password to box - click apply.
    That should do the trick

What was it just out of interest.

Had to delete an identity under the following registry key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider

Fix came from a Microsoft support article..
