    Hi there!
As someone new in Dublin I think a socialising board would be a good way for people to meet new and interesting people. I noticed the boards events thing but wouldn't it be nice if people could post up things they are doing themselves independently of boards and invite other boards users along?
I think It could be beneficial for the social aspect of boards.ie aswell.
Let me know what you think:)

You've just described Boards Events there Gimme.

I don't get the independent part, it'd be on Boards and invitations to boards users, so I guess you might be thinking that non-mods can't post events there or something.

Anybody can post an event there. Maybe reading the charter in boards events would clarify this further.
