im in need of a mac and was just wondering is it worth it to splash out and get a powerbook for the extra cash, or would i be better off just getting a imac.

a few people have told me its not worth to get a laptop at the extra cost as the technology goes out of date too quickly.

    feedback?

i suppose if you would need to move the computer around a lot or need one when you travel then get a laptop - otherwise if you don't need one to carry around stick with a desktop...

Indeed the iMac is a bit of a bummer when it comes to portability :(
