    I know i did it before but can't remember does anyone know how to foramt a c: drive that uses windows 2000 and ntfs...

    How about booting from the Win2k CD and using the repair console to do it? :)

    install it to fat32 and convert it after.
    convert /fs:ntfs i think thats the command in dos

    Ranish is a usefull utility for formating, unlike fdisk it will see every partition on the disk.
