    atari jaguar?

I really like the show either way and I didn't really mind him coming back or staying away.

I watched it on C4 tonight for the first time in yonks, forgotten how funny it is. Though im confused:

the last episode i had seen previously was when Simon left for Brazil or somesuch. Now tonight he was back again, but he said he was leaving again. So eh.... ?

I'm a bit confused by C4 showing a new Teachers series with a Christmas episode in early October. Christmas parties are getting earlier and earlier these days. Mind you RTE do it all the time (though sometimes Montrose have to show all episodes out of order so they can manage to get that Christmas episode in June).

And yup, looks like Simon is gone again.

He was only back as a supply teacher after returning from his "travels"

I have been forced to eat humble pie over Teachers I was disappointed with the first ep of season 3 but I was far too harsh this season has been fantastic Lindsey is great and the character of Matt who I did'nt like at the end of season 2 has shone this season, Penny's character has also changed at the season progressed Brian and Kurt were great last night and Simon returning adds extra spice to the show.
    Bob is fantastic.

    Great line

its much better with simon in it
Brian and Kurt were too one-dimensional to base the show around

I've been watching it since series 1 and love it but I didn't realise that there was a new series on until last night. It's as brilliant as it ever was, not too much has changed but it's still great. Just a quick question about some characters though. What happened to Carol's boyfriend, the gay teacher with the blonde hair (on the far left in the photo), who's the new woman teacher that was complaining about **** christmases and what happened to two teachers in the right cubicle?

The new teacher complaining about Christmases is Lindsey.
Was that the final ep last night?

No, as C4 have it listed for next week and nothing was said over the closing credits.

I see, being the final day of term and all I thought it would be. The theme tune for the show is by a band called Belle and Sebastien the song is "The boy with the Arab Strap" have it on CD a great tune and quite long some of the songs on the show are really good, will have to get the soundtrack for season 3.
I don't think it was explained why the character of JP left.
They should bring back Simon's ex bird Maggie the copper for one ep. I notice in this series and the last there seems to be less scenes in the actual class room with the teachers intercting with the students in comparison to season 1.
    :)

It was the same with Attachments, the first series had loads of stuff on the site and the internet but by series two it was just the staff sleeping with each other all episode long.

Started slowly last night but really picked up the pace even without Simon it produced the goods Bob in the first series was more of a peripheral figure his role is now more frequent.

I Really enjoyed the episode last night. BOB ROCKS!! i don't think the fact simon is gone again dosen't seem to do much to the plot.

What was funny was the way they ripped the piss out of "Dead Poet's Society" throughout the episode :D And I always love the school donkey...

This poll is academic anyway now that Simon (Andrew Lincoln) has left Teachers again after been back for just three episodes!

I watch this every now and again. I think the show has changed a lot since Simon left (the first time) - to be honest, I don't think he suits it anymore.. felt like he was there just for the sake of it.
