Question bout luas v Ozzie rail

    I know this not belong here but know more peeps will see it.




    my Da told me he read somewhere recently that in Australia, there was a track built which is bout 2,900 miles long and has 90 bridges(i think), and cost half cost of unfinished Luas???


    Anyone hear or read bout this??

    I read that too. Here's another - the Luas is going to cost around €1 billion. In Hong Kong, they built a new airport, on a new island, with a new rail and highway system (that was also built on reclaimed land), the world's biggest train station and everything that goes with it for €4.5 billion. Something is seriously f****d up, when we spend a quarter of that on a few trams.
