Hmmm, "N2Wild/Built For the Kill" is also scheduled for the same time next week. Digiguide doesn't show any more listings for John Doe on RTE at all, at least not in the next two weeks.

You advertise a new series and pull it after four episodes? Wtf?! Were the ratings that dismal? Or maybe someone informed RTE the show had been cancelled and they decided to relegate it from a prime time slot? Maybe it'll reappear in the old 2am slot they shove telefantasy into...

Sums it up for me for logic.

I suppose it's not impossible that it'll be back on screen on the 20th but it does look and sound a little silly.

I'm glad I started watching it on the Sci-Fi channel instead but that's not much good to those who've been watching it on RTE.

and i thought i missed it last night. in one way i'm glad it wasn't on but in another i'm p*st it's been eh, "moved" to a more appropriate timeslot.

were they showing the eps in the wrong order as well? that one last week seemed like it should have been shown before the one on the week before it.

What have Easterders and other progranmmes got to do with Stargate and John Doe. Both would fall in similar type programmes.

Staegate a soap err i think not.

I would assume that if you wanted viewers for any show that you would not put it up agains EastEnders And Coronation Street which get nearly 600,000 viewers.

Mmmmm Sky One barely makes 10,000 viewers per show.

Heh, I wonder where you work.

However, What i'm saying is that taking Eastenders aside.

These two would be going up against each other in Ireland for the adventure and Sci Fi type programmes and therefore audience.

The soaps watchers don't come into it, they'll tune into them regardless. But alot of John Doe watchers will switch to watching the new series of Stargate. Therefore making John Doe rating worse then they obviously were if the programme was pulled after 3 or 4 shows.

THE BEEB!!! Yeah! I don't work for anyone in the media unfortunately.

Yeah I hate soap watch, I mean how much can you get of one show they just annoy me.

It was cancelled in the states anyway was it not. So perhaps they only got 4 episodes.

Also it is comdey night on N2 what the hell is John Doe doing on Comdey Night. For that matter what has happened comedy night.
