I had builders in lately adding on a new room to my house. They contracted a TV installer to join the TV point in new room to my existing co-ax setup. For some reason they moved my digibox to the bedroom where there is a portable TV, and put a new TV Link in the living room where there is a 32" set. Works OK in both rooms but I find the picture on TV in living room poor compared to the way it was when the digibox was located beside it and connected via scart. I assumed I could swap TV link and digibox around, but when I do digibox is unable to receive a satellite signal. Connections to box all checked and double checked. Any ideas what I am doing wrong pleeeeze ?

The dish LNB must connect direct to the screw threaded conector on Sat Receiver.

The TV if not connected by thick 21 pin scart (the only quality menthod), uses RF out1, or for a TV link to work (optional), RF2 out. (These are side by side plugs that require a TV cable with a socket on the end. Ordinary TV aerial or VHS etc loops through using RF in, the socket near the two RF out "plugs").

Often TV point connectors don't work with LNB signals from the dish.

You need to put the dodgy digibox back beside your main tv depending on what the cowboy installer has done you might be able to do this yourself if you are practical.
Otherwise get an installer that you have used for a while
What region are you in and ill tell you if i know any good guys
