I've Win98 se on my pc and I'm gonna put XP pro on my other pc. Network cards in both and I'm using a router.

Any reasons why this shouldn't work?

Absolutely none if you know what you're doing :)
Just make sure they're both on the same workgroup and have the same IP subnet mask.

    (moved to Net/Comms board).
