anyone cancel eircom???

When i found out about eircom reducing their prices, i rang straight away, now that iol have done the same and better,i wanna join them instead,anyway .....

1) would i be under the years contract yet?

2) anyone else try to cancel?

3)oh and which would be best for games?

3) don't know which ever has lowest pings to the server

1) If your connected to eircom now then your under your years contract and will nearly be impossible to break

2) Some people have used the excuse that there moving away and that they wont be in the country, how successful thats going to be is anyones guess

2) The best for games is ESATS business package but thats only available from 40 exchanges in the country, if your talking about the RADSL products, there all the same and youll see the same results no matter what RADSL package you go for

Not quite true-the isps backhaul may be contended. ie they have their own backhaul from the regional adsl pops..(open to correction on exactly *where* the isps have to supply their own backhaul-but essentially wherever it is- different isps may have different levels of contention)

it's my second months and the b*****ds at eircom still didn't disconnect me! i'm gonna email them again today, man they try to keep you with them as much as possible btw, is ESAT business available in D8?
