Clicksilver!How Long?

    From the time you sign up how long is the normal wait time to get connected to the Clicksilver service? Is it still as long a wait as people were experiencing when it started?

    took me 2 anda half weeks to get setup, that was 2 months ago

    A month overall, that was in July/August. It would have been three weeks if they hadn't made a slight mess of my modem delivery.

    hmmmm , should i even answer this ....

    2july ordered sometime in the middle of august delivered . 7 weeks in total i think but it was because of a cock up with the middle man , nevadatel . why anyway ?how long have u been waiting ?

    I ordered Monday so it looks like i have a long wait ahead.The fact that i'm migrating from XL would this make it any faster? By the way are you happy with the service now that you got it?

    Migrating from XL isn't going to make it any faster, most of the time it takes to set up your dsl account is the time it takes for eircom to enable dsl on your line, the amount of time it takes utv to actually set up your account is negligable.

    I wouldn't rekon on a long wait ahead micker , the rush will have stopped now and mine was a particular problem discussed here in another thread . As for how happy I am with it , I would have to say ,very happy , UTV's pings might not be the best but they are playable with and the d/l speeds are ok aswell .

    Signed up 15th August and I'm still waiting.... can't even get a date from the tech support...... and I migrated from XL.
