Billionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made an astonishing bid to force Joe Cole to join Spartak Moscow for a year on loan, it can be revealed today. Cole was told he was being farmed out to the Russians just hours after completing his £6.6million transfer from West Ham last month.

Might be good for him, at least he will get a few more starts than at Chelsea where Duff will more than likely get in ahead of him.

Where was this reported, I hadn't heard about it till now...
