I'm thinking about doing a Photojam-style compilation of a bunch of photographs. I'm looking for something that can cue audio with pictures and has transitions and captioning, and saving projects - all at a home-user price.

Any ideas? Photojam is very limited in what it can do.

    It is what it's.

A lot of the VJ software about at the moment will do that. You can mix the photos(and video) live, apply effects in real time, or you can record and save a project to play again.

Dunno if this is what you're looking for, but a friend of mine has sent me a number of photo CDs, created using TVCD, which feature backing tracks, which can be viewed on a DVD player (in 640x480 VCD format)..

What's VJ? Where can I find it?

Krusty, I'll look into that TVCD, thanks :)

    Here you go:

    http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopalbum/main.html

It does exactly what you said and anybody needs just Acrobat Reader to see it

    Have fun :)
