Hi, I got a dlink 504 a while ago and got my line upgraded yesterday. The box is showing a green light under dsl link and ethernet however I cant get it to access the internet. I have a "Realtek RTL8139/810X Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC" network card.

edit/update: Ive tried getting my lan connection to use the netsource ip / gateway and auto ip now and still cant use IE / mirc etc without getting a connection box prompt. Can access the 192.xx page again though after rebooting a few times.
Anyone Ive asked about this on irc has had no clue whats wrong, anyone here got any ideas?

    cheers :)

getting a green light on the lan connection?

    goto startmenu run cmd

    ipconfig
see what ip address your lan card is getting (it in the right range)?

    ipconfig /release
    release the ip address

    ipconfig /renew
    get new one

    ipconfig
see if the router gives a new ip
