    Hi,

Have set up a spare FTV box up in my bedroom with an SLX portable. Does anyone know the code for this brand of TV (or who makes them - then I can try that code).

    Thanks
    Shane

And if it's an older SLX, you may need to try Goodmans.

Same as above Parasite. Philips or Goodmans should do it. Maybe Beko if all else fails.

Black Diamond is mitsubishi....code is 0150. Keep pressing the TV + off button until telly turns off.

yeah i originally asked because mitsubishi didn't work, i remember it working before, anyway i've tried the entire list and only 'saisho' works (?), but you can't hold down the volume , you have to press it for each little notch of volume arrgggh

Yes with my Mitsu I had to cycle through the sub codes for 0150 by pressing TV then off alternately a few times.

Though it basically uses Philips RC5 codes (The PC Satellite TV or Hauppauge WinTV or NEI remote will work volume and channel etc).

If it's any size of a Black diamond 4:3 set it probabily does 16:9 mode better than "letterboxing" so connect with Scart and set Scart on and 16:9 TV in Digibox Services | Picture setup.

If it gets confused on Aspect:

    Press TV
    Change Channel
    Press Sky

For Black Diamond TV's I had mentioned makes other than Mitsubishi as Mitsubishi don't make Black Diamond televisions, they only own the brand name. As you have found out, Saisho worked for you (afaik, Saisho is a Dixons ownbrand)
