What's the story with Family guy post season 3.

The way I worked things out was it got cancelled mid-way through season 4 and for the season 3 dvd they included the episodes that were made in season 4 as well.

It doesn't feel quite complete though having seasons 1,2 & 3. In particular I remember a scene where
They show ricky martin in his dressing groom putting on a wig and he walks out of the dressing room as Jewel
. Maybe I just missed this when I was watching the first 3 dvds, or maybe it's from an episode that I don't have. anyone know if any family guy episodes exist that aren't on dvd?

Seth Mcfarland the creator of Family Guy confirmed that he is making a Family Guy movie that should be out in the next year _. Year and a half. It will be a straight to DVD thingie.

NEW FAMILY GUY!!!! My pants!! I love you Seth McFarlane. Can't wait for it to come out, bein disappointed for months that I'd never see anymore Family Guy. Best t.v. new's I've heard in a long time. Wish they'd make a new series, and just cancel the simpson's. And make another series of Futurama for that matter. Two at most. None of these kinda show's should go past nine or so season's. The Simpson's is proof of that.

The movie is a great idea, especially if just straight to DVD as it won't have to make a big fuss at the box office. Plus, it doesn't reek of a big cash-in (like many animated movies are these days) and its a nice way of finishing off a great television series for the fans. Hopefully, they'll make some FOX cracks about cancelling the show. :D

Plus it also means, they won't have to worry about censorship. They can release the full force of their comic genius upon us, and know that there won't be scene's like the Hitler show, or Osama Bin Laden doing show tunes cut out.

    Huzzah!!! etc.

As long as they don't go too extreme, guys.....

Remember, South Park's transition to movie lead to "Shut your f**kin' face, uncle f**ker!"

    - Dave.

And what was wrong with that exactly?

That song is still funny ffs!

But the Hitler sketch is still there to enjoy the DVD: "Today on Hitler!" and his "He's going to do it! He's going to show his butt!" :D

Alas, since that little 9/11 incident, they've removed the Osama sketch from the DVDs :( I think I have it somewhere in .rm format uncut...

Yea, I want ticket's to that show damnit.

Also, Peter eating crisps while the Germans sneak around downstairs with the guns, and all the lads are cowering in the attic. Classic. Best comedy ever. Nothing else even comes close.

We have to have that osama .rm file. (so much for it being "totally uncut")

Osama in the airport is hillarious. TheSonOfBattles introduced me to that comedic gem last year. it was on the Road To Rhode Island episode right after Stewie singing the lolipop song at the metal detector in the airport

That is a class part of that show alright. But then again, unlike the Simpsons, Futurama, or any other show EVER, every single episode has a good few scenes that are just highlarious, and that you want to rewatch a few times to fully appreciate. One of the fav's of the top of me head is Peter knocking down the Roadrunner, or commenting that he has excellent attention to detail, then glancing at the tv, and exclaiming

    "Holy crap, Ohura's black!!"

Classic, like I said, not one single episode that I dislike, not something I've ever been able to say about any other show, including Gundam or any of the other anime's and cartoon's I heart completely.

brian:yeah about your pamphlet, theres nothing between 1939 and 1945.. its just blank
    tour guideEVERYBODY WAS ON VACATION

a movie would be absolutley brilliant
