    So what's to go for?

    The Vodoo 2000 or 3000.
I've been told basic specs are all similar yet the 2000 is just slapped at a lower frequency, and the difference is hardly noticable, but is that all lies ?

There's a 50 quid price difference so what should I go for?

    thanks.

The 2000 is avable in PCI or AGP
but the 3000 is avable in AGP only.
the clock speed of the 2000 is 125MHz
and the clock speed of the 3000 is 150MHz
the 3000 is faster that the 2000 but you need
mad computers to get the max out of them if you have a computer under 400PII get a Voodoo
if you have one over that then it's up to you which you want TNT2 or Voodoo3.
the TNT2 can have up to 32mb on the board, Voodoo 3 can have just 16mb max, the TNT2 has 32bit grafict were the Voodoo can do a max of 22bit but is not so hard on the CPU so the slowere the CPU the worse the TNT2 will be but the Voodoo 3 is not so CPU relintle slow if you want speed and not 32bit the Voodoo is best but if you want 32bit then TNT2 is your card.
