As far as painful places to get tattooed goes... How painful is the back of the neck, in relation to anywhere else....??

Tis not too bad there.Plenty of flesh to absorb the pain.

Try the inside of the upper arm. That hurts like ****.Fairly sensitive!!!!!Also the tip of your elbow is another sensitive place.
Basically anywhere the skin is tight or thin you`ll have a bit of pain.

Neck is fine on most people. I know a few guys with neck tattoos and they all said it was no biggie.
I have my neck pierced and it was the least painful piercing i've got, less so than ear lobes even! Less nerve endings in that area.

Basically anywhere that isn't covered with much fat, like wrist or rib areas, or an area that is pretty shielded like the inside of your arms, is going to hurt.

Thanks all, got it done yesterday & was easiest yet! Besides the fact that it was pretty teeny!
The worst bit is being 23 & still having to keep it hidden from the parents, they think I'm a big enough freak already!!!

thomasmckinless, as soon as I invest in either a digital camera or a scanner, I will do! Have planned on taking pics of all the tats & piercings, or getting some nice professional ones done. I'm terribly unphotogenic, but hopefully the back of my head will look good ;)
