I have noticed in some posts that people and create a link but not have the address actually show up..

eg: when someone says click -here- (and the word "here" is the actual link)
    how is this done?

when u post just above where u type your message there is a button called http:// click that you'll get a digalog box where in the first one you type (click here) then hit ok then in the second box type the URL of the link.

    this is how it's done

    Boards.ie

the code for it is (URL=www.boards.ie)boards.ie(/URL)

replace () brackets with [] Square ones

Sauron - if you ever need to see how someone does it simply hit the 'quote' button on the bottom right of their post and it will copy their text and formatting into a reply for you.
