Has anyone had a problem accessing their IOLBB Mail account?

I've not been able to access mine since I started on broadband.

Is it not the same username and password that you use, for example, to check your DSL usage and your login username/pass?

No. You register for your email separately. You may be able to use the same username and password, as long as nobody else already uses that username for their email. If you click on the help tab on IOL's website, it goes through how you set up your email, and webspace (which can use different username and password too, if you want).

Thanks... Tried that, and failed. Damn thing is looking for CLI. I'm on broadband! :-/

    Nevermind that.

Where are the paperless bills being sent to if I've to register the account myself??

Did you try to register via this page:
    http://home.iol.ie/help/reg_bb.html

If so, get on to their technical support (as if they could help ), because that page is specifically for Broadband users so you shouldn't have a problem.

As for the bills, don't worry about that just yet, they don't seem to want to send them to people who have emails, so that's a problem you'll can deal with after you sort out your own email (If you have another email already, give them that address, nothing says they will only send stuff to an iol.ie address).

Not a lot I'd guess... Well if i remember correctly it's either 10mb or 100mb. Id say the former is more likely.

Johnmb: That page is the broadband help for sure but it's the one application form that you fill in!

If you try the webspace one it says something slightly different when it fails... It says put 142 before the number for dialing up... So it would be "142,*".

I've not tried it but I will if I remember to do so after disconnecting!

IOL BB customers who want the email or web space need to PHONE ireland online to sign up for them. Hopefully the online registration will be adapted for broadband users soon.

    That kinda sucks!

Why did I get broadband?! To avoid phones. People scare me! :p
