It looks like Real Madrid have shifted McManaman to Everton
for 1 mill a year salary. A two year deal apparently, I bet the bugger scores in the return game!

The reception he gets next time Everton play an Anfield should be interesting.

As a Liverpool fan I am confident he will receive a warm reception at Anfield. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Premiership again.

He should get a decent reception he did well for pool and was a very good pro about his move to Real.

But he is moving to everton so dont really know, someone should tell him whatever he does dont kiss the everton jersey :)

Was he an everton fan as a kid?

Yep, he was an Everton fan - and yet genorous to give the pool the best part of his career.

I think most pool fans liked to see it whenever he did well at Real, so let's just hope that the good will is maintained.

Has Macca signed for them Toffee's yet ? Don't think so.
It'll be good to see him back in the Prem and he'll get a great reception from the Liverpool fans.

Skysports are confirming that Macca has gone to Man City. Ral have released him and have said that he has signed for Manchesters second side.

Thats a strange one, though I did hear his name connected to Maine Road a while back - Its becoming a Liverpool old boys club!

Was he not being booed by Liverpool fans when he made clear his intentions to leave on a Bos to Madrid? As far as I can remember he was. I'd doubt if he'll get a good reception from the Liverpool fans if that was the case.

Ok well he definately won't be getting a good reception at Old Trafford if he plays there now!

ahh yes... a certain Mr.. Keane may chase him around the pitch but will you still manage to get a whopping eh... 1 point off City again this year?

I doubt it - more easy points for City from the Stretford scum LOL
    :D

You used all your lucky stars last season. It ain't gonna happen again this season. I think it will be a full 6 points to the Reds this season.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see - always hard to call a Derby game - I mean, Utd are argueably better than Arsenal, and I'd expect Arsenal to take 6 off us... passions in Derbies run that little bit higher, make the players react differently etc.

with any luck now that fowler has a few ex-liverpool lads behind him he will think hes gone back in time to wen he was playing well and scoring for liverpool and become the player everyone knows deep down inside that he is

hopefully Macca will awaken fowler, but I fear theplayer that 'deep inside' Fowler is/was, is now buried beneath too much fat to be truly awakened...

Unless of course, Macca can coax it out with some paella...

So a third ex-liverpool player signs for Keegan. Good move for him and City. He will do well there with Keegan's style of play.
