Every time I start the pc the computer automatically dials the internet. Even when I cancel it the dialog box returns to dial again.

I must have selected a check box but can’t seem to find the option. Running Windows XP.

    Thanks logistic

Click Start -> Connect To -> Show All Connections.

Then in that window click Advanced -> Dial-up Preferences

    and there's the autodial settings.

Had pretty similar problem a while back

Take a look at past thread.

Make sure it's dialling the correct ISP number and also any unusual process's running?

Go to START > RUN > MSCONFIG

Check the startup tab for any programs that might wanna connect to the internet :)

You don't have a pr0n dialler installed do you? ;)
