Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in London?

Not too expensive but still clean and fairly central

The Jurys hotels always seem to be of fairly high standard and
they seem to offer fairly good package deals too..

have a look and see what ya think..

    Jurys Hotels

Ive never stayed in them but all Jurys seem to be fairly reasonably priced and standard fit out and quality..

Its probably best that you mention what areas of london youre looking to stay in..

everything in central london is expensive, I stayed at the citadines barbican apart hotel and it was very nice. clean and airy, with cooking facilities and satellite and nice shower. I think it was about 80 pounds.

i'd imagine that most of the hotels of that standard are equivalent so just pick the cheapest one you can find.

I stayed in the Regent Palace Hotel in London a couple of years back. It's a 2 Star hotel so the rooms weren't anything spectacular. However I remeber that it was fairly cheap and it had a great location, (smack in the middle of Picadilly Circus - the tube station is right outside the front door).

It also has an Irish bar which was pretty lively.

I stayed in a place called the St. Giles - right on Tottenham Court Road, about 50 Yards from the Tube Station, near Oxford Street and right in the West End. Stayed there for a couple of months with work, it was decent enough (stay away from their £9.95 brekkies though!). I think you can use the gym/pool while you're there too.

I don't know when you're going but if you take 19/09/03 as a test date you can get a single for £70 per room and a double for £75 per room.
