Standing Stones and High Rollers are great. I love the one with the bridge and golden ball too. Quality stuff

Is there not a big cash prize for winning?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

there is not prize AFAIK. anyone see the steppig stones a while back when some woman looked like she scrope all the skin off her leg and went teeth first into the next stone. very painful looking but i had to laugh :p

There is no prize for winning afaik.

Its so rare for anyone to win that the satisfaction of winning is enough!

Identical thread doing the rounds, about a week ago...

    Chosui du :)

I think its great. dont need prize money, for the koyoba-san who wins it would have the fame of winning Big Brother for Japan and sell his story for a trillion billion yen :)

skittles is the best for me. Commentary is class.

Ah, it's all good. Final stage is crap though.

    I'm watching it now:D

Playing Knock Knock someone decided to kick the monster samurai in the googlies. He got through.

The skittles game is one of my favourites, as are any of the "real" obstacle courses. That game where they run up the hill to avoid the rocks is quite good for the naff factor as well. That new acorn game is just odd. The game with the little bikes is pretty cool.

I still groan whenever they have a giggler on - the type that hangs out in the train station and giggles like a 12 year old even though they're well past 30. They run around the course and giggle and scream. Wipe them all out I say. Even more annoying than the people who practically prostrate themselves on the floor in thanks for buying in their shop when you walk out of their store.

GF's Japanese friend is coming for a visit in about a week. I'm told that given that she's in the army she's not a giggler. Hopefully not, as I'll strangle her with my shoelaces if she is.

nahh that doesn't work at all, as soon as you touch a loose one you're gone, but if you go fast & lightly, you can get past it
wipeout is by far the best, it's like a a game of mario or something

dont know the name of this one but saw it a while back..remember the one where they were playing american football?

My favourite event (can't remember the name) was the one where they lined up five rows of three doors, two doors where solid and one was made out of paper, the object was to guess which door was the paper one by running into it!

We need more game shows like that in this country, it'd certainly beat watching that pervert Marty Whelan doing Winning Streak.

heh its a hilarious show, but it got a bit repeptitive when i saw it the whole time, so now i only watch it every now and then, "an rud is annamh is iontach" :)
