Wut the hell he's Irish? sounds like an Yank/Brit, I find that channel really really bad cuz most of the people on it talk like faggots or talk like were retards and dont understand them, i may watch the odd bit of clans, even tho its mostly HL mods, has sum ok BF vid's tho, i hate the gameclips cuz theres always **** heads on the bottom of it txtin in, everytime i see the clips theres always one fcuker there called anon, i wouldnt mind slappin him in the face

Ahh game network.
The shopping channel with annoying accents,that throws in some softcore porn at night.

I know a guy that used to work there (Carl - did a few shows, inc the legend of mir), and when he quit, he told me about the conditions there.

He worked for about €15,000 a year, and the place was a basement. There was ONE guy that did all the not-so special fx, music, pretty much everything on computers, and he got €65,000 a year. That guy quit, and Carl thought some of the money would contribute to his pittance. But the €65000 simply vanished...

They also went and advertised a rival MMORPG to the legend of mir, even when the legend of mir show was on, it'd bark on about the myth of soma in some corner of the screen.

The channel is an absolute joke, and I'm suprised they're still on the air. [/rant]

The plan was never to be on telly.

Cheers. I have no real interest to be on TV - It's a job though. I'm a more comfortable presenting (Well it has been like 9 months) but its not what I want to do.

Least we'll have a few new shows formats on since we're back from holliers...pity 'clans' was on EVERYDAY of August - bet you didn't get sick of seeing the same 10 eps all the time

[Edit - oh and since your an Evil Dead fan like myself (like everyone?) if you haven't played it yet - Fistful of Boomstick isn't too bad...better than I thought it would be, and 10x better than 'Hail to the King' *shudder*]

Tell him that the adds are crap and he should stop talkin like a robot , u know "Hey GAMers , have ... we... got...an ...offer...for..u..." etc etc. Who picks the music that is played behind the game clips btw?

The other guy is a canadian called Noel.
Game Clips : usually the editor, so that usually means 80's Metal, unless you tell them - here put this music with this clip.

Most of the time a clip gets made without my knowledge so by that time its too late to suggest putting some Jungle music to it (My usual suggestion

)

It was based in a studio that was downstairs in another building, GN moved - now its in a dedicated studio type thingy.

Just had an idea Ivan, you could become our man in the know here on boards, give us the latest info on games ETC before anyone else.

Theres alot of contributors to boards that do that kinda stuff for us, so if your willing maybe the moderators could give you some rights to post up stickies or whatever with news release dates ETC ETC

Only if your willing of course, and it doesnt interefere to much with Game network

Bit of a slagging on the contact-us program this morning, Ivan and and Bill (he of the breathing problem)were presenting it, Ivan said he wanted more e-mails from ireland, Bill and I quote said
