Hey,

I'm heading off to Florence, Italy in a couple of weeks. I was just wondering if it is possible to get tax back on any purchases that I might make in Italy??

I am aware that Americans can do this when they are over here but I'm not quite sure of what the circumstances are if you live in the EU. I have filled out a few of the documents that the Americans need to get such a refund (worked in Roches Stores for a while).

That scheme is only for non-EU residents.
