I use real audio player a lot for work and I am always connected via a broadband connection. Recently Real Audio Player has stopped working for no reason and I cannot view and "live streams" or listen to old radio shows etc online.

What have Real audio done???? Can anyone help me please.

I have tried installing Real Alternative 101/104 on my Windows NT4 system but still nothing.

    Can anyone help please.

    Thanks

not sure how the windows port is these days but works perfect for me under linux with full real media support....behind a firewall so not too sure how it is on streams

As your sysadmin/IT person if they've blocked the relevant ports on the office firewall

Ah, sure they can't be that bad. In my years of sysadminning the response would have been something like:

"Yes I did. Why do you want it unblocked? No, don't tell me, I'm not going to do it anyway. And you can't have more Exchange space. Microsoft limit it to twenty megs, honestly, blame them, it's a feature not a bug. That's all the space anyone has except for me. Why do you want more space anyway, people aren't sending you that much porn. No you can't install winzip. I don't give a crap if you're the managing partner. Sort out my overtime payment yet - I was in till 3am last night. Do you want that Excel spreadsheet that lists what everyone is paid moved off the public share? Oh by the way I'll need my own office if you want those ten machines set up before Christmas. Thanks for rushing through that expense claim on those computer books I bought last weekend - they'll be really useful for my job. I won't be in till 12 tomorrow by the way"

btw I'm not ripping off the above from BOFH. This used to be a typical day. I almost miss it now
