That rule only exists in CM.

it was definitely a real rule at one stage, coz a few times when keepers have been loaned between prem clubs the papers have mentioned that only keepers are allowed to be loaned, and not outfield players in order to let clubs solve emergency keeper problems

new rule this season from the FA, dont like it myself, what happens when Arsenal play Leeds, where does Pennants loyalties lie? Surely he wouldnt want to score the winner against arsenal in a league game

I'm sure that they will have an agreement between the two clubs that the player will not play against the club that he is contracted to.

I disagree, surely it would be a big statement if a player on loan managed to socre the winner against the club that loaned him out. Increase his chances of breaking into the first eleven when he comes back.

    New rule in real life...

If a player was not playing at 100% against his old or indeed current club then I think he would be in a world of trouble..
