    Hi,

Anyone know of any clubs that'll teach kids
(8 yr old) Wing Chun style Kung -Fu in the Dublin
area, preferable the Phibsboro area. Oh yeah,
preferably with a really good teacher. Hmm, maybe thats too specific.

I want a good club for my son-no messing or time wasting places
with a good teacher and if it'd be on Dublin 7-9 area all the better.
    Any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Try Kung-Fu for Kids :

    http://www.chinahand.homestead.com/KungFuForKids.html

It's affiliated with YMAA, the leading worldwide Chinese martial arts association.

I trained there as a kid and cannot recommend it highly enough. The instructors are excellent, and the school itself has been around for a long time now. They teach basic kung-fu techniques with a strong emphasis on practical self-defence.

The only problem for you is that it is a southside location (Blackrock to be specific), but if you are willing to travel you won't be dissapointed.

PS. What age is your son ? I think that they will only take kids over 7 years of age

thanks wheeler_1028, looks just the job.
He's over 7-just 8 in fact so hes ok there.

Don't know if I left it too late though, they'll start in sept
& there may be a waiting list. Anyhoo, I gave them a shout
    & we'll see what happens.
    thanks again.
