RPC Problems?!?

Since today, whenever I have connected to the internet a message appears on screen saying the computer has to shut down. The message includes “Initiated by NT AUTHORITY / SYSTEM” and “Remote Procedure Call service terminated unexpectedly”. The message appears at various times into the connection and a countdown clock is in the dialogue box with a one minute countdown.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?
