I was based there for just under 10 months and hated the place everyday I worked there...

yeah, i went there in April, left at christmas 1999.
they were going to pay me 500 quid to work the millenium new year, but i handed in my resignation and was 'escorted off site' just before christmas. so i got a nice long christmas holiday, and my new year.

still, it was good for teaching the basics of computers, and i ddi enjoy it. i just wouldnt make a career out of it. i belive they work days now (bastárds!) i will never forget what its like to work an 11 hour shift until 8am.
    christ, thats just mental work.

Sounds like this is becoming a "worst work experiences - what kind of apes have you worked with?" thread.....

All I can say is that if you are in tech support you should not try putting a 21 inch monitor down on the floor while wearing tight trousers! Ripppppppp!

Mind you, having said that, a little gem of advice - if it ever happens to you - and you can't dash home to change...
A stapler make a very good make shift sewing machine ;)
