Shelbourne Hotel goes Wireless

I hear the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin has gone wireless. Its been fitted out with a WLAN netowork so that guests staying there can access broadband Internet using laptops or handhelds.

All you gotta fo is buy an O2 zone card at the reception which gives u access to the netowork. So then the guests can contact home and work easily!

I never thought such an ancient hotel would bring in something like this but pretty kewl isnt it.

was one of the first round of O2 hot-spots roled out earlier in the year - you can use it in certain areas of the hotel - meeting rooms and business centres are where the main APs are located

haven't been able to use it with a handheld (ipaq - pocket pc) as the login system isn't developed for its browser's cababilities
