    Hi

I want to mask my intranet address which is \\servername\intranet\web\home\index.html etc to \\intranet.companyname.local whilst browsing the intranet site

    Any ideas folks?

    Dwayne

in IE set the local domain *.company.ie not to go out across the internet as its an intranet site

    then address would be http://machinename.company.ie

working on assumption that default.asp points to ur virtual directory

    that would do it
