It's a travesty of an abomination of a pathetic excuse for a film.

The one thing in its favour was the long line of topless ladies running down the stairs, creating a sort of standing wave of breasts. Strangely mesmerising, although I have absolutely no reason why...

turned off after half an hour,

my mate said that chick in saved by the bell. jesus what a change for her.

    still an awful flick though.

What do ya mean "an awful flic"??? It was fantastic! I've no idea what the film was supposed to be about ... and frankly, I dont care! All those naked bodies on a Monday night TV is absolutely class!! :D

Must remember to get this on DVD! ;):p

Watched about ten minutes of it. Gina Gershon fully clothed did more for me than that stripper gal with the weird face.

I think I'll go watch Bound again now :)

It's kinda like watching Gidget get in a car crash with Don Johnson whilst a laugh track plays in the background.

Lisa Turtle was a stuck up tramp, the bitch wouldnt even give Screech a chance. Kelly Kapowski (Tiffany Amber Tieson or something) would have been great though.

I can quite easily picture T.A.T. writhing up and down on a stippers dancing pole right now. With the fees hollywood pay out these days surely that'd have to be worth $10 million of anyones money?

id have given Lisa Turtle one anyway

Showgirls was one of a number of major studio flicks that Seamus
Smyth saw fit to protect us from including Bad Lieutenant, Crash
(I think), Natural Born Killers and that daft vampire movie - From Dusk Till Dawn. The thing is a couple of them might still be technically banned so if you're watching them on UK telly you're a - cue silly voice - "Very naughty boy!"

Show girls would have been the best film of the year if Screech played the lead!.. can you imagine how funny that would be....:D

Not quiet true here. the distributor wanted it withdrawn and the only way to do so once it was submitted was to have it banned. Threadkiller (if he's about) can fill in more details on this.

Just have to point out... its not daft its acually a very good film with a very original idea, that is that the first half was directed by Quentin Tarantino and the second half by Robert Rodriguez. Thats why half way through the whole story just changes.
    Thats all.

Anyone see the follow-up to Swingers called Made? Screech made a guest appearance when they couldn't get into a club.

Screech walked up with this bird and brushed past them greeting the bouncer and getting straight in. Vince Vaughan didn't react well: "You let Screech in the motherf*cking club!". Legend.

No, it wasn't. The entire film was directed by Rodriguez.

the pool thing was class but way too short must of been less than a minute. was the film always as soft as that? or just censored for tv?
