Defoe and ruud would be a good partnership if playing 442 also could provoide cover for ruud in other formations IMO . I saw trabelisi in the ajax liverpool match yesteday and he had a excellent game could be another good signing if he goes to old trafford.

i saw trabelsi in the amsterdam tournament this year and last and hes top class.As for defoe ruud partnership i dont think it would work but people didnt think cole and yorke would but they were real good.

Hope so. Hes one of the hottest prospects. Himself and Bellion could be an excellent partnership. Both the same type of players. Both very fast and skillful.

I think they will get Defoe alright but I'd like to see them sign Van Der Vart , saw some great movement from him during Ajax's game on Friday night and again on Sunday (I think) against Inter.

He plays in that role that Fergie wants to play , a link up man playing behind Ruud !

I don't think Ruud and Defoe would partner well. Without Ruud Man Utd are in serious trouble they have no other prime striker. I think they should get Vieri. You obviously have not been paying much attention recently. Fergie wants to lower the average age considerably. He owuld not buy a player like Vierie at 28(is he? or more?). No way.

If we got Defoe(possibly Ronaldo of Lisbon or even Eto) and Puyol of barcelona, id be very happy.
